The Society's objective is to inform the British public about all aspects of Iraqi life and culture, including its history, heritage, art, performing arts, language and traditions. 

Membership of the Society is open to anyone interested in learning about Iraq and its association with Britain or with specific commercial, cultural or other interests there. Commercial and other organisations may become Corporate Members.

The Society arranges a programme of events, including a variety of cultural presentations and talks by well-known and experienced speakers, specialists in their fields. Please see the Programme for further details.
